I have, from the age of fifteen, been pretty cross about the injustices of our world. I got involved in political activism from that age, and haven’t really ever stopped. At university, I was involved in lots of campaigning and writing, and volunteered for a Green Member of the Scottish Parliament, and ended up as student union president.
Since then, I have worked for People & Planet – the UK’s largest network of students taking action for global justice. I’m also co-editor of Bright Green – Britain’s biggest green blog – and have written for various magazines and newspapers in the UK and around the world. I’ve been voted one of Britain’s top 10 left wing bloggers, and one of the UK’s top writers on twitter. In my spare time, I like to campaign against the Tories and to cook.
