I almost didn’t go to uni and if I hadn’t had parents who’d enjoyed the experience so much I almost certainly wouldn’t have. As a result I wouldn’t have travelled, worked in tourism or decided to come back for more study.
Now, I get to teach first-year and foundational students, research into areas of critical theory that I never even knew existed (and that continually blow my mind) and hang out with some of the most incredible people I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet.
I want to share some of my energy, enthusiasm and knowledge about Higher Ed to get as many people as want to into the amazing BA programmes that run across the country. Without these students, their efforts and their ambitions, the country would be boring old vanilla rather than the cacophony of flavours it should be.
