Clare Jonas

Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Psychology

I am a postdoctoral research fellow in psychology at the University of East London. Previously I have worked at the University of St Andrews and I have studied at Sussex, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and Warwick. Day-to-day, my job involves doing research on psychology, including how people think about number, how different senses interact with each other, and especially synaesthesia, a harmless but unusual condition in which the senses meld together, so for example you might see colours when listening to music. In my spare time, I like knitting, cooking, sewing, watching terrible movies, and exploring the world on my bike.
