I’m a multi-art form Producer who’s passionate about the development of the South West’s arts ecology, and contributing to the region being a place where the arts thrive.
I dropped out of sixth form because I hoped to earn enough money to leave home as quickly as possible. As luck would have it, I got a job in the box office of my local arts centre, discovering jobs I’d never even heard of before and the rest is history. I’ve now worked in the arts for over 11 years and was the first person in my family to go to university.
I recently joined the team at Pavilion Dance South West as Programming and Producing Manager. My current role is to create an original and high quality performance programme for children and young people, to support artists and companies inside and outside the studio, and to take responsibility for the contracting and operational logistics of all incoming companies.
