Arts Emergency

Marcus Lilley

Founder of FutrSocial

I am a Theatre Maker and founder of FutrSocial. I studied Theatre Studies at the Lancaster Institute for the Contemporary Arts Practice at LICA. My theatre work explores the relationship between interactive storytelling, social media, film and photography. My work has been shown in Lancaster (‘Process at Play’ 2011) and Australia (‘Anywhere Theatre Festival’ 2012). In 2012 I founded FutrSocial a social media agency focused on using creativity and innovation in its approach to projects. FutrSocial has worked with Contact Theatre in Manchester, Marlborough International Jazz Festival as well as the Space (a joint project by the BBC and Arts Council England). I have chosen to volunteer for Arts Emergency to help mentor and give advice to aspiring and motivated individuals to help them achieve theirs goals in the arts.
