Advice for A-Level Results Day

We know this year has been a huge challenge for you with coronavirus and the cancellation of exams, however we hope that you are still able to celebrate this week. You earned those grades with all your hard work and you can now focus on your opportunities for progression.

In the links below you can download lots of information that may help guide you with what your options are, including information on Clearing, Clearing+, Adjustment and appeals. Remember, if you’re unsure then the best thing to do is either speak with your teacher or contact your university with any queries. If you’re an Arts Emergency Young Member you can also give us a ring or email.

If you are unhappy with your Centre Assessed Grade (the grade you will receive on results day), you will have the option to sit your A-level exam in the autumn or take your A-level mock result. Speak to your teachers about these options, as well as the university you are hoping to go to. They may be able to offer you a January start date, or will let you know if you’d need to start the following September. You can also speak to your teacher, if you feel the awarded grade was unfair, as they will be able to appeal on your behalf.
