I really enjoyed this show. I laughed and also felt depressed. It was a really nice show which was very engaging and also made you feel reflective. Those actors are so talented and have great skills in acting, singing and dancing.

It was absolutely beautiful. It was lovely being in a safe and judgement free environment where black men are able to voice their feelings and experiences that most black people such as myself are able to relate to. It was beautifully done. I really loved it.

This is a play about what it means to be a black man in today’s society, it’s one of those rare shows that aren’t afraid to talk about sensitive subject matters. It is an homage to black culture past and present, and its themes are relatable to every black man living in the UK. It is a beautiful tragedy, but also liberating and hilarious; I would definitely see it again.
