This major exhibition of new and recent works by Peter Doig, one of the most celebrated and important painters working today, included paintings created since the artist’s move from Trinidad to London in 2021. Read what our Young Community thought below:
"My visit to The Courtauld Gallery was great. I received my tickets, a tote bag, a small booklet, and a letter welcoming me to the gallery and exhibition. I was particularly taken with his paintings from his time spent in Trinidad, such as Night Bathers (2011–19), which depicts bathers in the dark with the moon looming in the background. Thank you Courtauld Gallery for this Ruby Ticket - I had a lovely time."

"I really enjoyed the Peter Doig exhibit, there are such rich colours in his work that feel authentic as a reflection of Caribbean life. He also uses vibrant colours when depicting areas of London like a canal side, so it seems it's not necessarily the subject of his work that decides the outcome but rather his style."
